What it does
Contracts get stuck in counterparty signature queues, and weeks pass before anyone notices. This recipe runs daily — pulls every out-for-signature contract, drafts chase emails by aging bucket, and DMs the AE owners on the truly stuck ones so deals don’t slip a quarter for paperwork reasons.
How it works
- Pull out-for-sig. Every contract in out-for-signature status is pulled; days-since-send, AE owner, and deal amount are bucketed (0-7 / 7-14 / 14+).
- Draft chases. Polite chase for 0-7 day, firm follow-up for 7-14, escalation prep for 14+. All saved as Gmail drafts.
- Post. Daily digest lands in #legal-ops; AE owners get DM’d on 14+ day stalls; GC tagged on escalation candidates.
Setup
- Connect a spreadsheet destination (Google Sheets or Excel) for the tracker.
- Connect an email account (Gmail or Outlook).
- Connect a messaging channel (Slack or Teams).
Variations
- Add a customer-success outreach for strategic accounts that have stalled.
- Auto-create a Linear/Asana task for escalation candidates.
- Run a weekly rollup of “average days to signature” by AE.
