What it does
Sales sequences rot. Subject lines age out as inboxes get noisier; first lines that worked in Q1 sound canned by Q3. This recipe runs the rescue loop weekly: scans every active sequence with enough volume to score, flags the underperformers, rewrites the subject + first line tuned to the actual audience’s profile, and DMs the owner with an A/B-style diff plus projected lift. Owner hits the one-click ship link and the rewrite goes live.
How it works
- Scan. Pull every active sequence with 50+ sent in the last 14 days.
- Flag. Mark sequences with open <15% or reply <2% as underperformers, with the primary bottleneck noted.
- Rewrite. For each flagged sequence, rewrite the bottleneck step (subject and/or first line) tuned to the avatar audience.
- Notify. DM the owner with the diff + projected open-rate lift + one-click ship link.
Setup
- Connect a sales-engagement tool (Outreach or Salesloft).
- Connect an enrichment tool (Apollo or ZoomInfo).
- Connect a messaging channel (Slack or Teams).
- Configure the flag thresholds (defaults: open <15%, reply <2%, 50+ sent in 14d).
Variations
- A/B test instead of full replacement — split 50/50 on the next batch and pick the winner after a week.
- Add CTA-line rewrites for sequences where the bottleneck is reply rate at the closing prompt.
- Auto-ship rewrites for sequences below a hard floor (open <8%), require owner approval above that.
