What it does
Inbound leads cool fast. The five-minute rule is industry gospel for a reason — engagement rates fall off a cliff after that. This recipe runs end-to-end the moment a form submits: enriches the lead from Apollo, looks up the named-account map in Salesforce, assigns the right AE, and DMs the rep with one-line context plus a deep link. The whole thing finishes in under a minute, leaving the AE plenty of room to be the first call.
How it works
- Enrich. Pull firmographics, technographics, and recent intent signals from Apollo.
- Route. Check named-account ownership in Salesforce; fall back to territory + round-robin.
- Notify. DM the assigned AE in Slack with one-line context and a Salesforce lead link.
Setup
- Connect an enrichment tool (Apollo, ZoomInfo, or Clay).
- Connect a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Attio).
- Connect a messaging channel (Slack or Teams).
- Configure routing rules — named-account map, territory rules, round-robin fallback.
Variations
- Skip routing for known disqualified domains; reject inline and DM the SDR manager.
- Auto-book a meeting via Chili Piper / Calendly when the lead’s title matches the ICP exactly.
- Tier the DM tone — high-intent leads get a “drop everything” DM, low-intent goes to the queue.
