What it does

Page-views ranked content lists are useless — the top piece is usually a 5-year-old blog post that ranks for the wrong query. This recipe ranks content by what actually moves pipeline, with cut/keep/double-down recommendations so the team knows what to invest in next week.

How it works

  1. Pull traffic + email. The colleague reads page-level analytics and email engagement for the last 7 and 28 days.
  2. Stitch to deals. Each session is matched to a contact, then to its pipeline stage and deal value. Per-page attributed pipeline is computed.
  3. Rank with a recommendation. Pieces are sorted by influenced revenue + conversion rate, then tagged — keep, cut, or double-down.
  4. Save the rollup. A Notion doc lands with the ranked list, the cut/keep/double-down breakdown, and notes on any high-traffic-no-conversion oddities.

Setup

  • Connect an analytics tool (GA4, Mixpanel, or Amplitude).
  • Connect a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive).
  • Optional — connect the email tool for opens + clicks per send.

Variations

  • Slice the rankings by funnel stage (top, middle, bottom) so each piece is judged against its job.
  • Add a content-decay watch that flags pieces dropping > 30% week-over-week.
  • Auto-create a refresh task in Notion for any keep-tagged piece older than 12 months.
