What it does
Runway is the most-asked finance question and the slowest to compute manually. This recipe pulls cash and burn weekly, projects base / cautious / aggressive scenarios, and posts a clean snapshot card with the swing factors so leadership has the right number ready for any meeting.
How it works
- Pull cash + burn. Current cash, 3-month operating burn, AR / AP positions, and upcoming payroll / vendor obligations are pulled.
- Scenario projections. Base (current burn), cautious (+15%), and aggressive (-15%) cases are projected. Three swing factors with their potential delta are surfaced.
- Post snapshot. Snapshot card lands in #leadership-finance, with a flag if the cautious case crosses the 12-month trigger.
Setup
- Connect an accounting tool (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Connect a spreadsheet destination (Google Sheets or Excel).
- Connect a messaging channel (Slack or Teams).
