What it does
A board pack used to mean a full day rebuilding the same five pages every month — KPI snapshot, revenue breakdown, burn and runway, cohort retention, plus a written commentary. This recipe pulls each data source, runs the math, drops a fully-formatted Notion pack on your desk, and writes the commentary paragraph itself so the head of finance just reviews and ships.
How it works
- Pull revenue. Stripe + QuickBooks for MRR/ARR by plan, new vs expansion vs churn, plus top new logos.
- Pull burn. Ramp + QuickBooks for gross + net burn and runway math at current and plan rates.
- Pull cohorts. Retention curves from the finance master sheet.
- Compose. Assemble the 5-page Notion pack and write the commentary on the biggest movers.
Setup
- Connect an accounting tool (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Connect Stripe for billing data.
