What it does

AR follow-ups are urgent, repetitive, and easy to miss when finance is busy. This recipe runs daily — pulls the aging report, drafts polite chase emails for early-stage overdue, flags 60+ day invoices for AE escalation, and posts a digest so finance has one screen to act from.

How it works

  1. Pull aging. Every overdue invoice is pulled and bucketed (0-30 / 31-60 / 60+ days) with per-customer touch history.
  2. Draft chases. Polite chase drafts for 0-30 day, firmer follow-ups for 31-60, 60+ day flagged for AE escalation. All saved as Gmail drafts.
  3. Post digest. Daily digest lands in #finance-ar; AE owners get DM’d on 60+ day escalations.

Setup

  • Connect an accounting tool (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
  • Connect an email account (Gmail or Outlook).
  • Connect a messaging channel (Slack or Teams).

Variations

  • Run a weekly leadership rollup of total AR exposure.
  • Auto-create AE tasks for escalations rather than just DMing.
  • Add customer-success outreach if the overdue customer is a strategic account.
